In the near future, people in the Balkans start losing their emotions. Having lost reasons to live, they increasingly opt for suicide. As a form of salvation, there is the People Hotel, where Guests check in to rediscover their lost emotions. The hotel is run by High Representative Kristiana Šnita with the help of Chambermaid,  while in reality, it is truly managed by the Small Owner, Donald Bruno. They expose Guests to various situations designed to violently restore their primary emotions, individually defining each Guest. However, over time, it becomes clear that the entire process is particularly focused on one emotion – hatred. As the “therapy” progresses, we see the emergence of two protagonists – Marko and Selma, childhood best friends tragically separated by the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who begin to notice something strange in the Hotel’s operation.  They become aware of the fact that Strangers aim to control the hatred in the Balkans, with a view to conquer it entirely. Gradually, their emotions return – Marko regains love and Selma regains anger, so their relationship remains in a vicious circle without redemption. They have no other choice but to escape. But where?
